5G will bring faster speeds, better connectivity, lower latency & higher reliability; and BASF is collaborating with our customers to develop materials with properties for 5G applications.

  • Different frequencies (below 1GHz, 3~6GHz and ≥24GHz)
  • Low dielectric properties: even being able to tune the dielectric constant to a specific value
  • High transparencies (Dk/Df) to mmWave – high radio frequency (RF)
  • Low moisture absorption, thermal and dimensional stability and excellent mechanical properties
