Durability and Coil Retention
With its superior abrasion resistance, tensile strength and over 300% elongation before break, Elastollan® TPU is the ideal choice for applications that require durability and long service life. Coil Cables made with Elastollan® TPU have long-lasting coil retention and duty cycles combined with excellent chemical and abrasion qualities.
Temperature Range and Hydrolysis Resistance
Elastollan® TPU performs well in both high and low temperatures (-40°C to +150°C) in all environments, including wet/humid conditions.
Flame Retardant
With our Elastollan® HPM and Halogen Free FR grades, coiled cable can be developed for high temperature (125°C, 150°C) and flame-retardant applications.
Plasticizer Free, Long-term Flexibility
Elastollan® TPU retains long-term flexibility because it is free of plasticizers that can migrate out, making other materials, like PVC, become more brittle over time.
