Automotive Cable

Automotive cables made with Elastollan® TPU provide a reliable flow of information – even in the area of the wheel house that is at risk of impact from stones and exposure to oils, fuel, water, vibration and cold.

  • Our jacketing for EV charging applications coils easily with superior tensile strength and flexibility over wide temperature ranges.
  • For anti-lock braking systems (ABS) we have high abrasion resistance with good bending strength along with strong resistance to hydrolysis (LV 112, 85°C/3000h/85%RH) that provide a reliable flow of information while withstanding impact from debris and exposure to oils, fuel, water, vibration and cold.
  • Elastollan® TPU has strong resistance to UV, weather, ozone and microbes and can be made flame retardant without halogens.
